Following the collapse of the residential real estate market in 2008, those institutional lenders and banks who did survive, stopped making acquisition and rehabilitation loans to investors (‘Rehab Loans’), regardless of their creditworthiness or the equity position. While the institutional lenders and bank regulators clearly believe(d) that Rehab Loans presented an unacceptable risk profile, ICG does not.

JET Seal Services [an affiliated company of the Goddard Companies]
J.E.T. Seal Services, (JSS) is a specialty asphalt maintenance and parking lot ‘finishing’ subcontractor based in Bel Air, Maryland. Phillip L. Scott, Jr. is the founder and current President of the company, which was originally organized as JETSeal, Inc. before affiliating with the Goddard Companies in 2018. JSS is a Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB). In 2022, Phil received a Proclamation from Maryland Governor Larry Hogan, for being an outstanding operator of a VOSB which made significant contributions to the economy of the State of Maryland. Phil is a Navy veteran, as well as a retired Baltimore City firefighter.
Phil and his team of dedicated, highly skilled technicians are the embodiment of ‘the Goddard Way’. In just 4 years, JSS rose from a part time vocation of Mr. Scott with a few seasonal employees to the dominant provider of complex asphalt maintenance and parking lot finishing (i.e. installation of signs, benches, stop blocks, bollards and line striping) solutions. JSS finishes and maintains millions of square feet of hard surfaces for practically all of the top regional property developers, owners and managers whose properties are located south of New York City to Northern Virginia. JSS frequently partners with large general and site work contractors to assist them in completing their parking lots on time and on budget.
Roger That Roll-Off [an affiliated company of the Goddard Companies]
Roger That Roll-Off (RTR) is a full service commercial and residential dumpster and refuse hauling service with locations in Eastern Baltimore County and Bel Air, Maryland. In 2022 the Goddard Companies affiliated with RTR based upon its desire to expand into different markets, scale in terms of size and capacity and acquire new, top of the line equipment to better and more efficiently serve its loyal customer base. Unlike many of its competitors, RTR employs proprietary in-truck software to track and monitor its inventory of dumpsters to ensure optimal service and efficiency.

Goddard Property Management [a wholly owned subsidiary of the Goddard Companies]
The Goddard Companies has a dedicated property management team, consisting of the Director of Business Administration, Director of Maintenance, Controller and General Counsel. This team is the core of Goddard Property Management (GPM). GPM utilizes software to receive, track and monitor the performance of tenant service requests. Likewise, GPM’s Controller prepares detailed monthly financial operating/performance reports which are carefully reviewed by the GPM team to ensure optimal, profitable and efficient operation of its real estate assets. GPM through its personnel, or working with a dedicated team of high quality vendors (including Trout Daniel Associates as its exclusive landlord representative) and suppliers has honed its skills with regard to successful investment real estate management, including lawn maintenance, snow removal, cleaning, tenant leasing and performance remodeling. GPM performs all management of the Goddard Companies portfolio of owned and managed buildings. GPM has now elected to expand its scope and offer Property Management services to property owners outside of the Goddard Companies portfolio of properties.

The Goddard Companies has a dedicated construction and development team led by Ron Crawford. Under Ron’s leadership, Goddard Commercial Construction (GCC) was conceived. Since inception, and largely because of Ron’s hard work, integrity and commit to quality and value, GCC has developed efficient processes and practices for cost estimating, project management, and project execution. GCC through its personnel or working with a dedicated team of high quality vendors, specialty subcontractors and suppliers has honed its skills with regard to complete building remodeling as well as design and construction of tenant improvements and build out. GCC performs all of the work on the Goddard Companies portfolio of owned and managed buildings. GCC has now elected to expand its scope and offer Construction and Construction Management services to property owners outside of the Goddard Companies portfolio of properties.
